Hélène Morant
Violin teacher
Hélène Morant is a Swiss violinist passionate about music and its sharing. She began her professional education at the Haute École de Musique in Lausanne, first in the class of Lihay Bendayan, then with Sergiu Schwarz. In 2021, she obtained her Master of Arts in Music Performance with honors at the Hochschule der Künste in Bern, in the class of Monika Urbaniak. Wishing to also focus on teaching, she continued her studies with a Master's in pedagogy, also in Bern, which she completed with distinction in 2024.
Hélène combines a career as a violinist with an active teaching practice. She teaches private lessons and regularly substitutes in schools, allowing her to share her passion for music with students of all ages and levels.
In addition to her commitment to teaching, Hélène dedicates herself to chamber music and orchestral playing. She is engaged in several orchestras, including the Bern Chamber Orchestra, the Sinfonietta of Lausanne, the Sinfonie Orchester Biel Solothurn, and the Nexus Orchestra. She also performs in various chamber music ensembles. Hélène has participated in several masterclasses with renowned violinists, such as Shlomo Mintz, Pavel Vernikov, Joseph Hell, and Vadim Gluzman.
